Grommet

The Grommet is designed to interface with the dressed or shimmed riser joint, to enable the safe storage of the riser dockside.

Riser bay stacking wedges that are curved polyurethane blocks, accommodate stable stacking of adjacent Drill Riser Buoyancy Modules (DRBMs) placed in spaces within the stack.

Grommets are designed with a unique u-shaped cradles for placement of DRBMs on a drilling rig.
